Challenge

Cogniteq was tasked by Montresa to develop an iOS app for Emergency Watch, a wristwatch designed for triggering alarms in emergencies. Montresa provided the Android app source code and documentation for reference.

The Cogniteq team successfully developed the Emergency Watch app for iOS, focusing on usability and ease of use. The app logic involves sending BLE messages upon button presses, categorized as single-click, double-click, or long hold.

  2. The main menu includes sections for assigning actions to buttons, viewing action assignments, and accessing help texts.

  5. Settings allow users to configure button actions, set watch time, unpair devices, and delete actions.
  6. Analytics track user interaction with button actions using Firebase Analytics.
  7. Communication actions include playing a loud sound, sending an alert with location updates and initiating a phone call.

Challenge

Our client contacted our team with a request to build a web application that will help patients quickly and easily find therapists based on their needs and requirements and get consultations in one of two convenient formats

The project consisted of two parts. The first included developing a web app, while the second involved creating a related website.

We developed a web application to match patients with suitable therapists, aiming to simplify the process of finding the right professional. The solution was built entirely from scratch.

Challenge

Altyn Bank, a major bank in Kazakhstan, sought to develop a mobile banking app for its customers. They provided detailed specifications, which we revised significantly to create the solution.

The app’s main goal was to allow clients to manage funds, accounts, make transfers, and apply for various banking services. The bank aimed to achieve three main goals: to serve as a payment aggregator, offer quality customer service, and provide additional services for non-clients.

To mitigate risks and expedite development, we proposed releasing a minimum functionality version within six months, followed by gradual updates.

Cogniteq developed a banking app for Altyn Bank on iOS and Android platforms with features including payments, balance top-ups, and transfers between accounts and cards.

The app also offers smart automatic payments and subscription tracking for tasks like tax payments. Challenges included custom payment scenarios and ensuring security through authentication mechanisms and 3D Secure technology.

Testing involved creating test user profiles and simulating various transactions. The app provides 24-hour access to accounts, bill payments, deposits, loans, international transfers, card management, and notifications.

  1. The Altyn-i application became the first mobile bank app in Kazakhstan.
  2. The app now includes all Altyn bank products – accounts, loans, and cards. Customer feedback reports that money transfer has become exceptionally simple and fast. The user can check their account any time and, transfer the required amount to another account.
  3. Because of the successful completion of the project Altyn Bank invited our specialists to work on a project to create a web application for Altyn-i. Today Cogniteq is responsible for the optimization and implementation of the web part of the project.
  4. As planned our further cooperation will result in expanding the mobile app functionality developing money transfers by phone number, adding cash back, accumulated interest, live chat with operators and more.

Our client, a hardware manufacturer specializing in lighting solutions for emergency vehicles, aimed to expand their product range by introducing an Android smartphone application that utilizes Bluetooth LE beacons for tracking assets in emergency vehicles. The objective was to simplify and expedite inventory management for emergency service personnel. Our task was to develop a mobile app to test the concept’s technical feasibility and its usefulness for the target audience.

We created a mobile app that continuously receives heartbeat signals from Bluetooth LE beacons, displaying signal strength on users’ smartphones. Users can access a list of added vehicles, select one, and view the assets assigned to it.

They can add, edit, and delete vehicles as needed. Within each vehicle, users can view the list of assigned assets, including names, images, descriptions, and statuses (inside, outside, indeterminate).
